Concentric Named on Food Logistics’ 2022 Rock Stars of the Supply Chain Award
We’re pleased to share that Concentric’s very own Pete Chaffin was selected as a winner in Food Logistics' 2022 Rock Stars of the Supply Chain award!
Food Logistics gives this award annually to recognize influential individuals whose achievements, hard work and vision have shaped the global food supply chain. Given the seismic shifts in our supply chain in the last two years, Food Logistics notes “It's time to honor and celebrate those who work tirelessly behind the scenes to protect its people, improve product and keep goods moving through the supply chain, no matter what.”
Selected from among hundreds of nominations, this win highlights Pete's contributions to the global cold food supply chain, specifically our GuaranteedPOWER(R) program, delivering design, installation, data and management of batteries and chargers to reduce waste and improve the triple bottom line of Planet, People and Profit. Since its creation, Concentric's GuaranteedPOWER(R) program has been implemented across several hundred contracts and has contributed to millions of dollars in savings. Beyond monetary benefits, the program has improved worker safety by minimizing the number of battery swaps and reducing material and energy waste to create a more sustainable workplace.
