EventPhotoFull_ETT_Logo_600px-1-1The phenomenon of plugging batteries and other “things” into the internet continues to gain steam. The cool kids have taken to calling it the "Internet of Things” (IoT). Others cite it as one of the reasons that “software is eating everything.”

At Concentric, we are excited because it helps us accelerate toward our full vision for power management—one battery per vehicle no matter the situation (opportunity charge, fast charge, etc.) Concentric has tracked battery and charger assets online for over 10 years. We leverage this data to better manage the assets, extending their life and ultimately driving down the total cost of power ownership for our customers.

We know that to continue to improve our offerings, we need to share and learn with the rest of the industry. So, you’ll see us out in the marketplace more and more often. One of your first opportunities to hear us speak is coming up soon.

Join us at the Emerging Tech + Trends event

Concentric’s CIO, Mike Shemancik, will be speaking at the North Carolina Technology Association (NCTA) event on July 9th. Mike has over 25 years of experience as a software development and IT leader and is instrumental in leading Concentric's efforts to further our IoT agenda.

Mike will speak alongside other industry leaders from Cisco and Rubbermaid Healthcare. He will share lessons learned over the last ten years, as well as case studies on how real-time, online data is transforming how DC power is managed. Let us know if you plan to be there!
